Description

Gem 1929 Indian Quarter Eagle
Last Date of the Design

1929 $2 1/2 MS65 NGC. The 1929 Indian quarter eagle is popular as the last year of the design type. The issue is also the most difficult late-date Indian quarter eagle to locate in high grade. Examples in MS65 are scarce, and only four coins have been certified in higher numeric grades by NGC and PCGS combined (6/10). The present coin is an attractive Gem specimen, with lustrous, greenish-gold surfaces and a decent strike.
