    Description

High Grade 1929 Quarter Eagle MS65

1929 $2 1/2 MS65 PCGS. A smooth and boldly struck Gem with original peach and gunmetal-gray toning. The 1929 quarter eagle has a lower production than its rare 1929 half eagle counterpart. Apparently, the quarter eagle was either hoarded or exported, while the half eagle lingered in mint vaults until Roosevelt's gold recall. Encapsulated in a first generation holder.(Registry values: N2998) (NGC ID# 289F, PCGS# 7953)

    Weight: 4.18 grams

    Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
