Description

1929 Two and a Half Indian, MS65+
Outstanding Type Coin

1929 $2 1/2 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. This frosty, glowing Indian Head type coin displays reddish wheat-gold luster with hints of mint-green and pale apricot throughout. The design elements are well-defined, and the fields are devoid of bothersome abrasions -- only a few trivial lines, revealed at certain angles when studied with a loupe, preclude an MS66 grade. This CAC-endorsed 1929 quarter eagle showcases eye appeal that is seldom seen on any example of the type. PCGS lists five finer examples (11/24).
