Description
Amazing 1929 Indian Quarter Eagle, MS66
1929 $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS. Here is an incredible condition rarity at the end of the Indian quarter eagle series. Only two issues, 1911 and 1914-D, have lower PCGS populations in MS66 or finer grades. This intense Premium Gem displays amazing eye appeal with frosty yellow luster over both sides. Traces of pale blue toning adds to its overall presentation. With just three coins that PCGS has certified finer than MS65, the opportunity to acquire a suitable high grade piece seldom occurs. Here is just such an opportunity for the advanced 20th century gold collector. Population: 2 in 66, 1 finer (2/10).From The Atherton Family Collection, Part Two.(Registry values: N4719)
