Description

1914-D Indian Quarter Eagle, MS64
Challenging Issue in Finer Grades

1914-D $2 1/2 MS64 NGC. From a mintage of 448,000 pieces, the 1914-D Indian eagle is readily collectible at the MS64 grade level, but the issue becomes elusive in MS65, and finer coins are prime condition rarities. This impressive Choice example offers sharply detailed design elements throughout. The well-preserved orange-gold surfaces are lustrous and appealing. PCGS has graded 61 numerically finer examples (5/25).(Registry values: N2998)
