1909 Two and a Half, MS65+
Incredible Color
1909 $2 1/2 MS65+ PCGS. Rich rose, lilac, and
tangerine-orange hues adorn the luminous, unabraded surfaces of
this high-end Gem 1909 Indian quarter eagle, earning it high marks
for eye appeal among its peers. The strike is sharp and luster is
satiny. The 1909 is occasionally available in MS65, but Plus-graded
coins are scarce. PCGS lists only 22 finer submissions, all in MS66
(3/19).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 288Z, PCGS# 7940, Greysheet# 8604)
