    Description

    1910 Quarter Eagle, MS66
    Rare, Among the Finest Certified

1910 $2 1/2 MS66 NGC. No Indian quarter eagle issue is plentiful in MS66. Bela Lyon Pratt's iconic sunken relief design concept is admired by specialists today, but the lack of a protective rim exposed the fields of coins to excessive abrasion. The 1910 quarter eagle is among the rare dates in this grade, and it is unknown finer. Offered here is a Registry-grade Premium Gem with luminous orange-gold mint luster. All design elements are sharp save for trivial weakness on the lowest headdress feather. An important condition rarity for the Indian gold specialist. Census: 16 in 66, 0 finer (11/18).(Registry values: N4719)

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2892, PCGS# 7941)

    Weight: 4.18 grams

    Metal: 90% Gold, 10% Copper
