Description
1925-D Quarter Eagle, MS66
Beautifully Preserved
Among the Finest at PCGS
1925-D $2 1/2 MS66 PCGS Secure. The Denver Mint struck only
three Indian quarter eagle issues. The 1911-D is the famous series
key, the 1914-D is a sought-after condition key at the Gem level,
and the 1925-D is a popular type coin due to its availability and
generally pleasing eye appeal. This Premium Gem example of the
latter is conditionally scarce, but all Indian Head issues are in
this remarkable grade. Frosty luster showcases original
orange-gold, rose, and peach hues, and the strike is sharp. No
mentionable abrasions are seen. Population: 39 in 66 (1 in 66+), 0
finer (6/18).(Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 289B, PCGS# 7949, Greysheet# 8618)
