Description

San Francisco Mint 6.59 Ounce Silver Ingot. This small silver ingot has the oval imprint of the San Francisco Mint at the top, with part of the upper portion of the imprint and a small amount of the left side off the ingot. It is followed by the individual ingot number 1721 in large numerals, then 999.5, and the final line is FINE. The numeral 6 is on the short, lower side. The weight is on the back side, as usual, and expressed as: 6.59 / OZS. A thin rim from casting encircles three sides of the lower part of the ingot. Light in color with most of the original silver still showing through the gray-rose patina. The measurements are 32 x 51 x 11 mm.
