    Description

Hiberno-Norse. Phase III (c.1035-60) Penny ND MS64 PCGS, Uncertain mint, 14.6 grs., S-6132, DF-24. (Blundered legend), draped bust left / (Blundered legend), long voided cross with triple crescent ends, a hand symbol in the first and fourth quarters. A handsome example, remarkably appealing despite having been struck from worn dies. The central motifs remain strong and the fields glow with residual luster.
