Ottoman Empire. Murad III (1574-1595) gold Dinar AH 995 (AD 1586/7) XF45 ANACS, Tilimsan mint (in Algeria), 4.14g, Album-1331, ICV-3174. A pleasing pale gold type with notably struck central devices and some slight weakness in the margins. As is usual with the Ottomans' Algerian emissions, the present piece is quite rare and ever-desirable, struck to the Ziyanid weight standard.Ex. Dr. Hans Wilski Collection
