    Description

Papal States. Sede Vacante Piastra MDCLV (1655)-ROMA MS64 PCGS, Rome mint, KM280, Dav-4069. A well-kept specimen whose milled production by roller dies is evident in its subtle flan curvature and neatly arranged die polish lines that decorate the surfaces. Toned to a dove gray and absent of any noteworthy marks or handling, with a clear lustrous finish evident underneath the obverse patina, expressed more openly to the reverse.
