Description

Vittorio Emanuele III gold 100 Lire 1905-R MS61+ NGC, Rome mint, KM39, Fr-22, Gig-2, Pag-639. Mintage: 1,012. Highly flashy and reflective, this alluring offering easily stands apart by virtue of its high caliber of preservation, falling just shy of a grade point finer and therefore ranking near the peak of certification seen for the issue to date. This two-year type's mintage is similarly low across both dates (1903 and 1905) and therefore remains difficult to acquire so choice. Evenly scattered friction is noted throughout amidst razor-sharp details, though does little to impact the beauty of this impressive specimen.
