Description

Japan Tenpo Tsuho 100 Mon Money tree ND (1835-1870), type of KM-C7, but a complete tree. The early cast coins were made in a mold with several coins at time in one mold. This produced a tree shaped piece in which the individual coins could be broken off of the "limbs" of the tree and finished to produce the circulating coins. The complete, undamaged, trees are very scarce. This is an extremely nice example.
