Description

Meiji gold 5 Yen Year 3 (1870) MS66 NGC, Osaka mint, KM-Y11, JNDA-01-3. There is a deep brilliance to the mint bloom that graces this spectacularly preserved specimen. A trivial carbon spot beside the dragon interrupts the otherwise pristine patina, though we almost never see examples any nicer than this beauty.
