Description

1938 Jefferson Nickel, MS67 Full Steps
Radiant Mint Luster

1938 5C MS67 Full Steps PCGS. The 1938 Jefferson nickel is remarkably scarce considering it was the first year of the type. In an unpublished interview with Legacy magazine in 1990, Harry Forman said he considered the 1938 nickel to be the most undervalued roll he could think of. And that proved correct. This Superb Gem shows strong detail overall, not just on the steps, and each side shines with bright mint luster. Population: 10 in 67 Full Steps, 0 finer (12/13).(Registry values: P1)
