This beautifully toned Superb Gem displays deep brownish-orange peripheral patination imbued with whispers of olive that cedes to soft violet, yellow-gold and orange in the central areas. Sharply struck design elements culminate in Full Steps on Monticello's portico, and lustrous surfaces are marvelously well-preserved. A really wonderful coin to behold.
