MS67 Full Steps, Transitional Issue
1939-S 5C Reverse of 1940 MS67 Full Steps PCGS. The Reverse
of 1940 is distinguished from the Reverse of 1938 by the straight
and well-delineated as opposed to wavy steps. This elusive
transitional issue is always popular with specialist collectors.
Reddish-gold accents and soft mint frost grace each side. The steps
are exceptionally sharp without any areas of blending. Population:
