The variety is more available than the 1942/1 or 1942/1-D dime overdates, but examples in the present lofty grade are undeniably very rare. A lustrous and precisely struck Premium Gem. Pristine aside from a tiny spot beneath the I in MONTICELLO. A minor retained lamination (as made) within AMERICA. Population: 21 in 66 (1 in 66+) Full Steps, 2 finer (3/13).(Registry values: N991)
