Lustrous and Appealing

1943/2-P 5C MS66 Full Steps PCGS. FS-101. Delma K. Romines discovered the 1943/2 nickel in 1948. The lower curve of the underdigit 2 is readily apparent under a glass. An extremely sharp Premium Gem, this coin received an attentive strike, culminating in Full Steps. The highly lustrous surfaces reveal the slightest hint of champagne color and are impeccably preserved. The population data has changed little since we offered this coin more than five years ago, with only two additional coins certified at this level and none at higher grade levels. Population: 21 in 66 (1 in 66+) Full Steps, 2 finer (10/13).
