Desirable 1943 Doubled Eye Nickel, MS66 Full Steps
1943-P 5C Doubled Die MS66 Full Steps PCGS. The so-called "Doubled Eye" variety with that feature boldly doubled. Brilliant silver-gray surfaces are accented by subtle champagne toning. Better than five full steps are visible; this piece nearly qualifies as a six-step example. Population: 13 in 66 Full Steps, 2 finer (5/08).From The Compradore Collections.(Registry values: P1)
