1944-D 5C MS67 ★ 5 Full Steps NGC. This is one of just four 1944-D 5 Full Steps War nickels that have been assigned the coveted Star designation by NGC. Golden-tan patina in the centers transitions to concentric circles of lavender, violet, cobalt-blue, and crimson-gold, and a powerful strike leaves excellent definition on all of the design elements, culminating in five (technically 5 3/4) full steps.
