1970-D 50C MS67 PCGS. The mint-set-only 1970-D half dollar in Superb Gem grade becomes a conditionally elusive item, as most were apparently handled carelessly at the Mint and today grade, for the most part, MS64 to MS65 despite decades of cellophane survival. This exception boasts an attractive satiny untoned finish with far fewer marks than normal. Population: 14 in 67, 0 finer (1/16).(Registry values: N491)
