Description

1984-D Half Dollar, MS67
Rarely Offered Registry Candidate

1984-D 50C MS67 PCGS. Franklin and Kennedy half dollar specialist Rick Tomaska has described the 1984-D as "a very rare coin in MS-67 -- tougher to find than the 1984-P. Very few Mint State 1984-D Kennedy halves have survived in the nearly mark-free condition required for an MS-67 grade." This Superb Gem is among 23 such submissions at PCGS and NGC combined with none finer at either service. Satiny, untoned surfaces are strongly struck, and a loupe is required to bring tiny marks into view. Population: 14 in 67, 0 finer (8/16).(Registry values: N208)
