The Only Collectible Example of the 1909 Korean gold 10 Won

Yung Hi gold 10 Won Year 3 (1909), KM-A1130, J&V AD6, Dragon in circle/Value in wreath, MS64 NGC. As with the previous lot the fields are fully mirrored and prooflike, the strike is flawless, and there is a touch of orange-golden patina. This piece, also, should be designated a Proof, or Specimen, and not a normal Mint State (MS) issue as listed on the holder by NGC. Only two pieces are known, as with the previous lot, and the other is in a Japanese museum. No example of this date has ever been offered for public sale. If you are an advanced collector of Korean coins, this will probably be the only opportunity you will ever have to acquire three of the most important Korean coins, the 1909 5, 10, and 20 Won gold coins
