1793 Liberty Cap Cent, AG3
S-13, Rarest First Year Type
1793 1C Liberty Cap, S-13, B-20, Low R.4, AG3 PCGS. CAC. L
of LIBERTY almost touches the beads above, while two beads above R
and wide spacing at TY help confirm the Sheldon-13 variety. A
smoothly worn, chocolate-brown example with partial or full
visibility of the devices. A small depression near the right stem
on the reverse may be a planchet void, but it is of little
importance at this well-worn About Good level. Otherwise,
essentially problem-free for the grade. The Liberty Cap design is
the scarcest of the three major 1793 cent types. Our EAC grade Fair
