Popular 1793 Chain AMERI. Cent
1793 Chain AMERI. Fine 15 Corroded. S-1, R.4. Medium-brown on both sides, with a moderate degree of porosity. There are only a few deep pits on the obverse, notable just past the Y of LIBERTY and a few at the tip of the bust. On the reverse, there are a few other deep pits, one on the left side of the chain, the other between TA of STATES. Well balanced and better than many seen of this extremely popular variety.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 1340, GSID# 1212)
