Description
PCGS 1793 CHAIN AMERICA VG 10. S-3, R.3. The "Leaning R" variety with irregular spacing in the letters of LIBERTY, the R being too large, high, and leaning to the right. A darkish specimen that, as always, is a grade or so higher on the reverse. The surfaces are occasionally granular, not affecting the lettering or other devices. An affordable compromise grade for the collector with more normal resources, but not wishing an obliterated obverse on this popular first year type.
