Description

1793 Wreath Cent--Vine and Bars--Fine 15. S-9, R.3. The "Round Bow" reverse and quite distinctive as such. A bit unevenly struck on the rims with only slight definition on the upper portion of the rim on the obverse, and the corresponding lower part of the reverse. On the obverse there is a spot of reddish corrosion in the right field, just out from the tip of the nose. And on the reverse, a small dig is noted below the second T in STATES and another to the right of the final S in STATES. There is also a planchet flake out of the reverse over the lower portion of the first A in AMERICA. Medium brown color.
