S-10 1793 Wreath Cent
1793 Wreath Cent--Vine and Bars--XF 45 Light Obverse Scratches. S-10, R.4. A scarcer Wreath cent variety that is characterized by the perpendicular angle of the left and middle leaves in the sprig, and the defective area near the rim and in the beading on the obverse. A well defined example, the surfaces show glossy brown and deep blue coloration with a hint of original red surrounding the devices. A long, shallow, horizontal scratch traverses the hair, upper neck, and right obverse field with a shorter one crossing it lower in the field.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 223H, PCGS# 1347, GSID# 1220)
