Not Sold Description
1793 Wreath Cent
1793 Wreath Cent--Vine and Bars--AU 50 Corroded. S-9, R.2. The surfaces are very dark and show evidence of corrosion, particularly on the reverse. The details are very well brought up, but due to the other factors on the coin's surfaces, the value will undoubtedly net out at somewhat less than that of a problem-free AU. It should be interesting to see what levels of value bidders place on this historic but lightly troubled early type coin.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 223H, PCGS# 1347, GSID# 1220)
