Choice AU S-70 1794 Large Cent/Ex: Col. Green and Oscar Pearl--Untraced Since 1944
1794 AU 53 NGC. S-70, Low R.2. EAC graded XF 40. Sharper by degree of wear but there are several small, dark spots on the obverse. Nice color with a medium-darkish steel-brown overall and faint evidence of reddish-brown. Defect-free except for a couple of tiny abrasions.Ex: Colonel E.H.R. Green; St. Louis Stamp and Coin Co. (B.G. Johnson); Oscar J. Pearl; Numismatic Gallery F.P.L. 1944, lot 82.
