Description
Impressive S-56, Slanting 7, Office Boy Reverse
1794 S-56, R.3. Sharpness of VF 35, net VF 25. Light steel-tan with pleasing brown toning on both sides, probably recolored sometime in the past. There are several small tick marks on the obverse, including some on Liberty's face, similar on the reverse. Identifiable by one rim mark between CA of AMERICA. Struck with the reverse die rotated clockwise about 45 degrees. A well struck, above average coin with ample appeal and a scarce variety to boot.Ex: K.P. Austin; Dr. Robert J.
