    1794 1C Head of 1794 AU50 NGC. S-49, B-41, R.2. MRB VF35. Die State I, with faint clash marks but otherwise perfect dies. Del Bland grades this piece VF35 and tied for 10th finest in his Census. Bill Noyes agrees with the grade, and places it in the eighth position in his roster.
    This smooth and attractive example has medium to dark chocolate surfaces with trivial marks including a few tiny reverse rim bruises, and a tiny mark below the T in CENT. A nicely centered impression, showing slight weakness at the left obverse border.
    This piece is not part of the Al Boka Copperheads Collection, but consigned as the property of Walter J. Husak.
