1794 Head of 1794 Cent, VF30
S-44, Old Green Holder
1794 1C Head of 1794, S-44, B-33, R.1, VF30 PCGS. The bold
radial die crack at 1 o'clock allows prompt attribution. The
diagonal crack through the 7 in the date is also characteristic of
S-44, although the obverse die is shared with S-43. A tan-brown and
steel-gray example with a moderately granular reverse. Void of any
mentionable marks. Certified in an old green label holder. Our EAC
grade VG8.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 223P, Variety PCGS# 35597, Base PCGS# 901374, Greysheet# 76768)
