The 1994 Early American Coppers (EAC) Convention Sale, held at the Aladdin Hotel in Las Vegas, brought together a diverse offering of early American numismatics for the benefit of the club and its members. The catalog opened with an appealing group of numismatic literature and pedigreed auction references, many tied to legendary collections such as Holmes, Sternberg, Naftzger, and Norweb. Early colonial issues included Connecticut, New Jersey, Vermont, and Massachusetts coins, along with Fugio coppers, Washington pieces, and related exonumia like Franklin Press and Talbot, Allum & Lee tokens. This broad introduction reflected the club's emphasis on history and scholarship while ensuring a range of material accessible to members of all levels.

The core of the auction lay in its Federal copper, with a strong representation of both half cents and large cents. Half cents featured important 1793 and 1794 varieties, including several struck over Talbot, Allum & Lee undertypes and rare 1802/0 and 1808/7 overdates. The large cents began with Chain, Wreath, and Liberty Cap issues of 1793 and progressed through a notable run of early, middle, and late dates, many tied to major pedigrees such as Arthur Sargent, French, Holmes, and Naftzger. Particularly significant were Condition Census examples of 1794s, a Mint State 1796 Liberty Cap, and later high-grade middle date cents. With its mix of rarity, variety, and scholarly cataloguing, the 1994 EAC Sale reinforced the club's tradition of providing both a marketplace and a reference for copper specialists.
