1795 S-75, B-3 Lettered Edge Cent, MS62 Brown
From the Eliasberg Collection
1795 1C Lettered Edge, S-75, B-3, R.3, MS62 Brown PCGS. CAC.
Ex: Koshkarian. Breen Die State V. This later intermediate die
state shows the usual die crack through the 9 in the date, a die
crack inside the upper right obverse border to the tops of RTY in
LIBERTY, another crack from the border to the cap, and extensive
spalling in the right obverse field. This is a highly attractive,
lustrous medium brown cent with light tan, faded from mint red, in
the protected areas, and slightly darker brown toning on the high
points. This is an exceptional example for an advanced collection.
