Splendid 1795 S-76b Cent
1795 1C Plain Edge AU58 NGC MS60 EAC. S-76b, Die State V, R.1. According to Walter Breen's research and analysis, all of the 1795 Plain Edge cents were actually delivered from the coiner in 1796, with the first of this variety delivered on January 1, 1796. This is a lovely example of the plentiful plain edge variety. The surfaces have splendid chocolate brown color with few imperfections.
