Description

Lovely 1795 S-76b, B-4b Cent, MS62 Brown

1795 1C Plain Edge MS62 Brown PCGS. S-76b, B-4b, R.1. Breen Die State IV, with minor clash marks on both sides. The S-76b and S-78 cents are the two most plentiful 1795 varieties, and both are readily available in all grades including Mint State. This delightful piece has satiny medium brown surfaces and cartwheel luster on both sides. The upper obverse and lower reverse are weak with minor planchet flakes on the weakly struck areas. An exceptional example, this cent will be a nice addition to a specialized cent collection or a high-grade type set. EAC 55.
