1795 Plain Edge Cent, S-76b, XF40
1795 1C Plain Edge XF40 PCGS. CAC. S-76b, B-4b, R.1. The top of the 5 in the date touches the bust on this variety, and the edge is plain. A couple of striking irregularities are noted along the rim, including one in the denticles on the lower obverse between 5 and 6 o'clock, and another on the reverse rim near 2 o'clock. The surfaces are evenly worn and essentially unabraded for the grade, with olive-brown toning across each side. The devices are well produced and nicely centered on the planchet.
