Description
Rare Sheldon-107, Rarity 5 Net Good 4
1796 Draped Bust S-107, R.5. Sharpness of VG 7 Porous, net Good 4. The surfaces are dark and evenly porous, moreso on the reverse than the obverse. There are some marks on Liberty's neck. The reverse is weak on the top left side, with TES of STATES worn and eroded away. Still a rare variety, with the Condition Census ending just a point or two above the net grade on this coin, making it very collectible for the advanced Sheldon variety numismatist.Ex: McCawley-Grellman Auctions, (1/96), lot 177.
