Choice Very Fine 1796 Liberty Cap Cent
1796 1C Liberty Cap VF30 PCGS. S-81, Low R.3. Double leaf under near UN, triple leaf near CA. Medium olive-brown in color with lighter silver-gray hues on the portrait. A couple of wispy pinscratches are on the central reverse, but there are no other distractions. Among 1796 Cents, the Liberty Cap is decidedly scarcer than the newly introduced Draped Bust design.
