Description
1797 Reverse of '97, Stems XF 40. S-139, R.1. A select early copper that boasts medium-brown toning and is boldly struck. On the obverse there is a minor tick above the L and on the rim across from Liberty's chin, the face has only minor contact marks. The reverse is lighter in color, a touch weakly struck on the left, and generally free of annoying contact marks. An available variety, but difficult to find this nice.
