Description
1797 Reverse of '97, Stems XF 40. S-120a, R.4. The Wide Date obverse combined with the Reverse of '96 and a plain edge produces this variety. A smooth, light brown planchet reveals only the even wear appropriate to the grade, and that is conservatively stated. A lovely coin for the serious collector.
