1797 1C Reverse of 1796, Gripped Edge XF40 ANACS. S-120a, R.2. This is a desirable coin for the grade with light overall wear and ample remaining definition. Expertly centered with full borders, medium brown patina, and some lighter, orange-tan color in the more protected areas around the devices. Lightly abraded, as befits a Large Cent that saw 20 points of wear.From the John H. Crisp Collection.
