Description
1798 XF 45 PCGS. S-170, Low R.4. EAC graded XF 40. A planchet defect is noted below the 9 in the date, making pedigree verification easier. The coin has the sharpness of AU 55 but very light pitting is noted on the reverse. Attractive medium to dark brown color on the obverse with a ruddy hued reverse. In the legend STATES OF is very weakly brought up. Tied for third finest known with four other examples.
