Description
1798 1C XF 40 PCGS. S-184, R.2. This example displays the diagnostic "flower spray" die defect just over the 7. The obverse is well centered, although we note the majority of the encircling denticles are weakly impressed. The balance of the obverse devices are, however, quite well detailed. The reverse is equally well impressed save for OF and the surrounding area. Even, medium brown patina adorns both sides with blushes of crimson and tan scattered about. Free of noteworthy circulation impairments, this coin is rather attractive from an aesthetic point of view.
