1798 1C First Hair Style AU53 PCGS. S-164, B-20, R.4. Breen Die State II, with minor obverse die bulges. Splendid medium brown surfaces with some areas of darker patina on both sides. A few minor abrasions are evident but mostly nondistracting. Graded XF40 and ranked sixth finest known for the variety, per Bill Noyes. Unlisted in Del Bland's Census. EAC 40.
