1798/7 1C --Damaged, Burnished--NCS. VF Details. S-152, B-13, R.2. The left top of the underdigit 7 is distinct, and the crossbar of the E in AMERICA is connected with the upper pendant, which ends in a sharp point. A few small, shallow punch marks are noted on each side, and the medium to dark brown surfaces have a glossy appearance. Sharp definition is visible on the design elements, which are well centered on the planchet. The dentils are complete, and for the most part quite strong. EAC 12.(Registry values: P1)
