1799 VG 8 Corroded Damaged. S-189, R.3. The "perfect" date variety of this rare year. Only 42,540 pieces were minted for the year, which is by far the lowest for the type. Extensive light corrosion is present, as are some small reverse scratches and a series of small digs at both rims.
